Data Operations Engineer (Various Levels)
You will be working with enterprise clients supporting cloud-based data environments. The Data Operations Consultant will monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot operational issues, and help ensure reliable day-to-day data operations.
What you will do
- Monitor Azure Data Factory and SSIS pipelines for stable and timely execution
- Investigate alerts and incidents using established procedures and runbooks
- Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis within your scope
- Handle manual data processing or pipeline activities when required
- Escalate issues that require deeper technical or architectural support
- Manage and resolve operational tickets through ServiceNow or similar tools
- Support mid and night shifts depending on client coverage requirements
What we are looking for
- Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory and SSIS
- Basic understanding of data pipelines and orchestration
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Able to follow operational procedures and identify when escalation is needed
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing tools
- Willing to work night shifts when required for Americas or EU coverage
- Amenable to a relaxed work setup: Full remote (for night shift), 1 day onsite per week (for mid shift)
- Professional, Senior, and Principal levels available based on experience and technical depth
